If you are already familiar with downloading, saving and displaying PDF files, you can click here to download the Prayer Evolving PDF file.  (Large, 2.2MB file may take several minutes to download, depending on your Internet connection speed.)  If you are new to the process of downloading and displaying PDF files, please follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Confirm that you have the Acrobat Reader on your computer.  If you already know that you have Adobe Acrobat on your system, please go to Step 3, below.  If you have not yet used the Acrobat Reader on your system, check to see if it is already installed.  (On Windows systems, look on the Programs Menu.)  Prayer Evolving is downloadable to any computer that can run the Adobe Acrobat reader (which is available free from Adobe Systems and runs on most popular operating systems --  link follows.).  If you do not yet have the Acrobat Reader on your computer, please continue with Step 2, below, download the software and install it.  

STEP 2:  Install the Adobe Acrobat Viewer, if not present.

2A.  Bookmark this page for easy reference.  Begin by bookmarking this page so that you can return to it easily.  (Some parts of the download process may take you to other pages, removing these instructions from view.)  If you are not familiar with bookmarks and/or favorites, write down the address of this page so that you can return to it to complete various steps.  The address is http://www.newconversations.net/prayers/downloadpdf.htm

Then, to make your downloading process much easier, make a printed copy of these instructions by clicking on the PRINT button on your browser.

2B.  Click here to download Acrobat Reader (5MB)
Select the appropriate Windows, Mac or Unix version on the
Adobe download page. (This may take from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection.  Do not click any other links while waiting for the software to download, as that will slow down the download process.) Write down the directory or folder in which you save the downloaded program file)

2C.  Install: The Acrobat software package will require a
simple installation process:  Log off the internet and close
all applications.  Find the downloaded program file and
double-click on it.  At the end of the installation process
you may need to reboot your computer.  After rebooting,
go online again, come back to this page:
www.newconversations.net/prayers/downloadpdf.html
and continue with STEP 3, below.

STEP 3: Click this link to download Prayer Evolving PDF file (2MB).

(This may take from 1 to 10 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection.  Do not click any other links while waiting for the book to download, as that slow down the download process.) Your browser should launch Acrobat, which will allow you to view, print and SAVE(very important) the  book in PDF document format.  As soon as the file is completely downloaded, use the Adobe Acrobat SAVE button (not the browser's save button) to save the file on your hard drive -- and keep it from disappearing from your computer as soon as you surf to any other page.

If your browser does not launch Acrobat, it should allow you to save the PDF e-book document on your hard drive for later viewing with the Acrobat Viewer.
